Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data is processed when you use freeuktools.com (“Free UK Tools”), why, and the choices and rights you have. It covers the calculators, Google AdSense advertising, Google Analytics and our cookie banner.
Who is responsible for your data
Free UK Tools is published by Aivora Digital, which is the data controller for the personal data described here. We do not publish a postal address. You can contact us about anything in this policy by email at freeuktools@aivora.digital.
Google is a separate, independent controller for the data it collects through Google AdSense and Google Analytics, under Google’s privacy policy.
The numbers you type into calculators
The calculators work in your browser. Figures such as your salary, a house price or a loan amount are processed on your device and are not sent to us or stored by us. You do not need an account. When you leave the page, those figures are gone.

Cookies and your choices
When you first visit, our cookie banner asks whether Google Analytics may use cookies. You can accept or reject; every calculator works the same either way. Your choice is saved in your browser so we do not ask on every page.
To change or withdraw your choice at any time, select Cookie settings in the footer of any page. You can also delete this site’s cookies in your browser settings.
Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode’s denied state: it sets no cookies. If you accept, it sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID>. Google Analytics never receives the numbers you type into a calculator. You can also install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to show adverts. Advertising cookies and personalised adverts are off unless you agree to them in Google’s consent message for UK and EEA visitors. If you agree, Google and its partners may use cookies to show adverts based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure how adverts perform. If you do not agree, or the message is not shown to you, Google may still show limited or non-personalised adverts, which are not based on your browsing history.

International transfers
Vercel and Google may process data on servers outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK–US data bridge or the International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR), you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests;
- receive data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, using Cookie settings in the footer.
Email freeuktools@aivora.digital to use any of these rights. We will reply within one month. Because we do not ask for your name and do not store calculator figures, the only personal data we can usually find is an email you sent us. Requests about data Google holds are best made to Google directly.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us before you go to the ICO.
Children
The site is meant for adults dealing with UK money matters. It is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
